Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. It’s a small hotel which is quite old but room and facilities are very clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful and both breakfast and dinner provided at the hotel were plentiful and delicious.

This standalone home was the most memorable place I’ve ever stayed near Mt. Fuji. It was private, peaceful, and felt just like home. Everything—from the host’s prompt replies to the smooth self check-in—was easy and hassle-free. Waking up to Mt. Fuji right outside the window felt like a dream. A great place really makes a trip unforgettable—and this one did. I’m already looking forward to coming back with more friends and family!

This accommodation was very nice and the host is so friendly and considerate. All the facilities were clean, the neighbors were courteous and the bikes provided made our stay so eventful. I recommend anyone staying in Fuji to stay here. but just be aware you will be walking or biking a lot so prepare mode of transportation beforehand.

There were welcome packs (they had thought of everything) in both the kitchen and bathroom. Immaculately clean, modern and very comfortable. Projector screen in main room, tv in dining area, technology was out of this world. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
