It was clean, and the bathroom was spacious! So cool how Hars is building everything himself on his property. The view of the mountains is just… wow! I stayed for two nights, but I easily could’ve stayed longer. Breakfast was also delicious, with fresh fruit from the garden! The fact that there’s no air conditioning might take some getting used to, but I slept really well — the breeze flows nicely through the room thanks to the way it’s built. I’m very curious to see how things will look in a few years with all the plans Hars still has. It’s hard to imagine this place becoming anything but a hidden gem!

Maringi Sumba by the Sumba Hospitality Foundation mempunyai basikal percuma, kolam renang luaran, taman dan teres di Waikelo. We loved everything about the property and especially the students and team that are learning and working there. What an inspiring place to stay during our honeymoon! We were moved to tears when our stay was over because it was such a special experience!
