By far the best homestay I stayed in in Sulawesi. Rooms are big and spacious and the host can arrange anything and guide you for a small price. The breakfast is very local and good too. I highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Kuda Laut on Siladen Island. The location for snorkeling is top-notch, as you can swim right off of the beach into water with beautiful thriving coral gardens. We saw more species of coral and fish than we have anywhere else, as 97% of Bunaken Marine Park is underwater. The resort is into sustainability and gives you a free cup of coffee if you collect a bag of plastic. We enjoyed playing pool at the outdoor pool table, as well as long walks around the island. When it is low tide, one can walk all the way around the entire island. A short walk to a nearby pier provides you with a gorgeous sunset every evening. We would absolutely love to come back to Kuda Laut one day.

Blending nicely with the countryside, in a relaxed and family style atmosphere, Raja Laut Dive Resort offers bungalows built with wood from coconut palms. Breakfast excellent- crepes, eggs, fruits, real fruit juice, cereal. Very large portions Location! House reef easily accessible just snorkel 50m infront at high tide & there’s a wall reef! I saw sea snakes, turtles, many fish Dive/ snorkeling trips - not a diver but new freediver, I felt very safe in the ocean, saw many many turtles, sharks, sea life. 12 euros for the trip if you bring you your own snorkel mask & fins, otherwise it’s possible to rent for extra. If you’re not a confident snorkeller be mindful that the guide goes with the divers so you will most likely need to stay near the boat. However high probability you’ll still see turtles & nice fish, corals etc. I had issues with my ears & needed to leave early & although I had already booked an extra night I was not charged which was very kind!! I’ll be back again for sure! Super comfortable, beautiful spot

Menyediakan teres dan bar, Three Ken Homestay & Cafe terletak di Manado, tidak jauh dari Pantai Pangalisang dan Pelabuhan Manado. Three Ken was a really nice surprise. It is located at the prime location in Bunaken, first row. The two rooms are next to each other above the restaurant. The family is a super friendly, they get you everything organized. But the best is really the food, prepared by Mama Inge; really well cooked food with veggies, mostly fish - fresh tuna was the best - not this deep fried stuff… In the evenings the locals always played music, some tourists were joining - big fun! Full recommendation from our side (we stayed there 5 nights, extending our stay in Bunaken) had both rooms: one for my wife and me and one for our two kids.

My stay at The Queen's Guest House was pleasant. The accommodation was very comfortable, with great amenities and a great view of nature. Yuli and Mehdi are incredible hosts who make you feel right at home. I had some amazing dives, and the professional instructors made the experience even better. I also enjoyed making friends and having fun conversations with other guests at the bar. To top it off, the food at the restaurant was amazing. Both the local and international options were very delicious. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful guesthouse, good value for money and very friendly and nice owners. Coffee and bananas available all the time. Organised a very good tour with the brother, and he was very keen to set up an awesome telescopic lens for me to see and take photos of the hornbills. Very satisfied

Terletak 24km dari Pelabuhan Manado, Chrisma Bed and Breakfast menyediakan penginapan dengan taman, teres dan dapur berkongsi untuk kemudahan anda. Sharon and her family have created a very special stay in Tomohon!! We loved staying here. The view from our room was beautiful and every morning we tried a new local breakfast dish. I could say so many wonderful things about this Homestay but you must come experience it for yourself!

We had a fantastic stay at Birding Lodge Tangkoko, right on the edge of Tangkoko National Park. The lodge is owned and run by a local family, and they made us feel completely at home. The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The Indonesian food was delicious, fresh, and a real highlight after long days out in the forest. The wildlife guides were outstanding. They know the forest inside and out. We did full-day bird tours and were able to see so many of Tangkoko’s incredible endemic birds and mammals. The guides helped us capture great views of hornbills, dwarf kingfishers, tarsiers, bear cuscus and macaques, and many other species. The accommodation was clean, the beds very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was a welcome relief after a hot day of birding and exploring. If your goal is to experience the wildlife of Tangkoko—whether general wildlife tours or full-day birding trips—we highly recommend Birding Lodge Tangkoko and Ardy’s team of guides.
