The owner is amazing, he was there all the time and helped us with everything that we needed. The staff is positive, always available and helpful. The food was nice, especially considering the location. I also recommend the diving center Yambuba recommended from the home stay.

Enchanting boutique resort in true Papuan style with a professional diving and snorkeling center in a private island led by Martina, a wonderful host full of humour and tips. We truly loved our week there and we would like to come back. Food was delicious and freshly made every day. We also had the opportunity to do 3 snorkeling tours in nearby location and they were awesome. Please before booking take into account the place is really authentic and if you are looking for classic resort with continental breakfasts this may be different and reach out to staff to understand the nature and the magic of the place.

Andy's place was amazing, especially the panorama view from the over water villa!! We consider it to be even better than Maldives :) Also, he provides the tastiest meals ever, we both agree that it was the best food we ever had in Indonesia. Also appreciate the private western-style bathroom, which was always spotlessly clean. We absolutely love our stay at Nyande and hope to be back when Andy finishes setting up his dive shop. Staying at Seahorse Homestay was by far the best experience of our whole trip in Indonesia. It’s a family-run place made with heart, and you can truly feel it in every detail. Adin, Peni, and Eko made us feel at home from the very first moment — more like friends than hosts — always close, kind, and willing to make everything easy and trustworthy. With them, we organized the best boat trips, everything smooth and perfectly arranged. The food was excellent, tasty and with generous portions. The bathroom was clean and nicely decorated, and the room was simply idyllic, a perfect spot to rest and enjoy. On top of that, the snorkeling right in front of the homestay is amazing. We would definitely come back without hesitation. Thank you for giving us such a special experience! 💙🐠

Dear James and family, Thank you so much for making our stay in Batanta so comfortable. We will always remember your kindness, our adventure at the waterfall and swimming with manta rays 🫶🏻 The home stay is exactly as described, really comfortable bed, cold water to shower and wonderful panorama. In front of the stay there is a coral reef where you can snorkel. We saw nurse sharks, stingrays, thousands of fish and beautiful coral formations. Somedays also dolphins visited us. If you wish you can do other activities like going to the nearby village which is one of the last traditionally built one in raja ampat. We went with James to swim with manta rays which was a great success as we saw two circling around for at least half an hour. Also, there are two waterfalls with a beautiful mangrove forest which is 30 mins by boat, we swam there and saw a bit of the jungle. The food was excellent, we were really happy to try local fish. It always had enough veggies, rice and egg tortillas. Even our vegetarian friends were satisfied. For the afternoon coffee we got freshly baked cakes. PRO tips for travelers: - Bring your own snorkeling equipment - Don’t litter and take your trash back with you to Waisai. At the port you can throw it away. - Be mindful about water usage - Use biodegradable hygiene products if possible - They don’t speak much English but for us it made it the experience even more authentic. if you need get an offline translation app

Paparisa Homestay di Kri menyediakan penginapan dewasa-saja dengan taman, kawasan pantai peribadi dan teres. Tetamu boleh menikmati pemandangan laut. Words can't describe how amazing the experience was. Paparisa is a brand new, small, private and secluded homestay with the nicest houses in Kri Island by far (compared to all the other homestays). The place has five "resort level" cosy houses with ensuite semi-open air bathroom (rare in Raja Ampat), big nice comfortable beds with mosquito net, a small private terrace in each house to relax or to watch the sunset and a small restaurant to enjoy your meals (they are building a nice sunset view big restaurant which they said will be ready by September 2025). They provide towels, toilet paper and linen so no need to bring yours. They have some toiletries but better bring some extra shampoo and shower gel for your convenience. Electricity is available almost half of the day and it is more than enough to charge anything in your room! The sea is just three meters from your door so you can easily swim whenever you want. This is also very convenient for diving or excursion's pickups as the boats pick you up straight from your door to go for diving or for a trip! Also, in walking distance you can snorkel in very amazing home reefs on your own. Paparisa rents for a small amount of money snorkeling equipment and these guys can also arrange several snorkeling trips to anywhere in the area. They also have contacts around so don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need! The communication before arrival through WhatsApp was exceptional and they have helped us a lot with our planning (the boat from Waisai to Kri arranged by them and a lot more). The food in the place is very tasty and feels like home and they are willing to cater any special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan etc).

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Friwen Mangrove Eco Lodge – this place is truly a slice of paradise. The bungalow is incredibly cozy, and the atmosphere is peaceful and serene. Rashid, the host, is one of the most caring and attentive people we’ve met – he made us feel completely at home. You can snorkel right from the doorstep of your bungalow, and honestly, even if you don’t go anywhere else, just being here is already magical. That said, it’s also a perfect base for exploring – Rashid has a boat and can take you to beautiful spots around the islands.
