This charming, 19th-century converted farmhouse is just a mile from junction 31 of the M1. It features real log fires, traditional British meals, and bright, elegant rooms. Visited from Canada and stayed here with my family / relations for my mother's funeral - the Red Lion staff were amazing throughout our trip - their food was incredible and everything was friendly, warm, caring and charming - just what you need at a time like that. Amazing place and I highly recommend - just a bit tricky getting to into the place off the roundabout - be careful! Appreciated the free parking and everything was great. Also appreciated the fan in the room as I found it a little warmer than what I'm used to.

Dave was awesome, he made sure we got to the place without an hitch and sorted us out with a parking spot. The apartment had everything that we needed that is every amenity needed after a long haul flight. Will definitely stay here again and will and have already recommended it to family and friends. The apartment was really comfy and neat. I liked that options such as Netflix, BBC iPlayer, etc., were available on the telly. Particularly because it was an FA Cup weekend and I'd been on the road, so getting to watch the match replay on BBC iPlayer hit all the right notes for me.
