We also had a super meal in a local restaurant, La Racine on the evening of our stay. It's such a beautiful area, what a lovely surprise to discover this corner of Normandy. Overall a really super stay, we highly recommend it.

We particularly liked the room, which was large with a comfortable bed and also a large en-suite with an excellent shower. Continental style breakfast was included. It was great to have a big TV with Netflix available. We were able to watch movies in English with French subtitles. Pascal was an attentive host and even taught us a few French expressions! The place exceeded our expectations and we would go back and would recommend it to our friends. Merci beaucoup, Pascal.

The bed and breakfast features family rooms. We arrived late after having to book same day and we were greeted by a huge smile and friendly dog. The Manor is a beautiful old house and the family clearly take pride in having people to stay. The room and furniture are classic and characterful with the perfect arrangement for a family stay. Our two girls had an adjoining room to ours and princess beds. The bathroom alone was bigger than most hotel rooms we end up squishing into as we stopover when driving through France. The beds were comfy, the shower big, the water warm and the whole experience memorable. We all slept well, hidden away behind the huge sleep-friendly shutters. You can self-serve teas and coffees and the owner even brought us a plate of madelines and chocolates to have with our evening tea and hot chocolates. The following morning we were presented with a variety of warm pastries and fresh coffee, along with homemade rhubarb jam. We didn't get to see the grounds in their best light as it was a winters's day but I imagine it's a good place to explore and stay for a few days in the summer too.
