Set in Épernay, near Moët et Chandon House, Mercier Champagne House and Georges Cartier Champagne House, La Petalerie features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a bar and a garden. We enjoyed the location of the apartment very much. It was >10-minute walk to the Avenue of Champagne as well as the city center. The best part was how quiet and quaint the residential district was while still being accessible to anything you may want to do. Our room had a magnificent view of the town and while it was slightly difficult to navigate the loft area due to the slope of the roof this was communicated beforehand. The owner did not speak any english but was extremely hospitable and kind. He had a translation app ready to go meaning that he could accommodate many nationalities. If you are looking for a very quiet, clean, and charming apartment centrally located to Epernay and Champagne in general this is the perfect spot.

The gardens were wonderful and in summer you can dine outside. The very spacious bathroom was excellent with a great shower. There is a compact kitchen easily up to cooking a meal. There is a lobby where dogs can sleep as it is clearly forbidden to let them in the bedroom. Breakfast was served in Christine’s dining room.

It was a last minute booking and Estelle went above and beyond to make everything perfect, organizing dinner and getting in special breakfast items for my husband. The accommodation was beautifully finished and furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable, everything was immaculately clean. Definitely somewhere that we will visit again.
