It was very close to the ski slopes and amenities were reachable. You definitely need a car to be reaching and commuting around. We were a couple and there was plenty of room for us. We enjoyed the aspects of the cottage including the architecture, ambience, facilities and cosy feel. It was a perfect get away for us. Happy to recommend it to anyone. The personal sauna and fireplace made it even better.

Beautiful location for restful moments with family, view of the snowy white slopes, extraordinary equipped gym! We did not use the swimming pool and sauna but it is also available. Great excursions (ice fishing, raindeer sleigh ride, snowmobile), all well organized and even when one bus was too cold they immediately organized a car to pick us up! Excellent food and very friendly staff!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean and well-maintained the entire hotel was. Every corner, from the rooms to the common areas, was spotless and welcoming, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. A special thanks goes to Vlrgemir, who truly made our experience exceptional. His politeness and helpful nature stood out immediately. He went above and beyond, answering all our questions with patience and ensuring we felt at home. He even helped us navigate the area and made excellent recommendations, all while being so genuinely kind and pleasant. Costume service perfect, Lotta was so lovely with us, and the rooms are such clean and quiet, the modern tv if you wanna use Netflix, there are many supermarkets around the hotel. It was incredible! The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with everything feeling fresh and modern. It was nice that all the interiors and facilities seemed new, even though the building itself is older. Overall, a cozy and convenient place to stay – I’d definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Kemijärvi.

We loved the location right by the lake, especially with the outdoor fire where you can cook your meals and enjoy breakfast in the morning. Everything was spotless. The host was also very kind, when we asked, he gladly washed the clothes we had from our trekking trip.
