The resort offers free WiFi in the lobby. Our stay at Gemma Resort was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs, welcomed with cold drinks and warm hospitality. The check-in process was seamless, with the receptionist providing all necessary information in a calm and professional manner. We opted for a family room with an all-inclusive package, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with a fridge stocked daily with water and beverages. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring comfort throughout our stay. One of the biggest highlights was the food quality. Each day offered a variety of fresh and flavorful options, with excellent dishes served at the main restaurants as well as by the pool and beach. From authentic pizza and sandwiches to sweet treats and snacks, everything was top-notch. The drinks were equally impressive—no watered-down cocktails here! Generous pours of quality alcohol, great coffee, and fantastic wine reflected the resort’s dedication to excellence. The resort itself feels like a picturesque village, full of serene corners to relax and lively areas for entertainment. Multiple pools, beautiful hidden spots, and a well-thought-out layout make it an ideal destination for those looking to unwind. If there’s one thing that truly sets Gemma Resort apart, it’s the staff. They treat guests as people, not as walking ATMs—something truly priceless. There’s no sense of obligation to tip, yet their service is so genuine that we felt happy to do so at the end of our stay. Their warmth and professionalism made our experience even more special. During our visit in mid-February, the resort was peaceful, not overcrowded, and the weather was pleasant, albeit a bit windy at times. We noticed that many guests were returning visitors, mostly from Italy (about 90%). Gemma Resort exceeded all expectations, offering top-tier hospitality, fantastic food, and a relaxing environment.

Pickalbatros The Palace Port Ghalib Resort provides rooms and suites fitted with modern furnishings and tastefully decorated in the local décor. All units have a balcony which overlooks the Red Sea, the pool, gardens, or Port Ghalib International Marina. We were lucky to receive an upgrade to a room with wonderful sea & lagoon view. Rooms are very spacious with plenty of storage, large TV and a super balcony. Ours had a view over the amazing private beach that surrounds the Palace hotel, over the entrance to the lagoon and all the ship entering and the desert on the other side. Unforgettable panorama at dawn (05.30h in April) and technicolor sunsets :-). Totally quiet at night. Super attentive room service; waterbottles and fruit. - The garden with the numerous large palm trees, its large lawns and its sea of flowers is meticulously kept. Fresh towels are provided daily for the pool and the beach. The very long pontoon offers fantastic views for everybody. Snorkeling is possible from there or on a large portion of the beach. Colourful fish everywhere. Highly recommended scuba diving center is right near the Palace Pickalbatros with lessons and excursions. - We loved the food, especially the egyptian and the indian dishes. We started our days with omelettes, pancakes freshly made for breakfast, incredible goyavas fresh and pressed. -The entrance to the Palace Pickalbatros hotel is truly majestic, as is the large lobby and the bar with its terrace overlooking the artificial lagoon of the neighboring hotel . - All staff in the amazing Palace Pickalbatros hotel are very well trained and respectful. They work really hard to make guests feel at home and pampered. A big thanks and congratulations to the manager, Mr Mina for the amazing job.

The hotel beach is very well maintained and offers good opportunities for snorkeling. The quality of the food is good and doesn't cause any problems even for European stomachs 😉 The hotel management can be very proud of their staff, they work very responsibly and are very committed and friendly even in stressful situations. All in all, the hotel exceeded my expectations!

There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. We had a great stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic, and our room had a spectacular view. It was quite spacious and quiet, which we loved. The staff was generally friendly, and we’d like to give special thanks to Mostafa Othman, who helped us throughout our stay—he was always available and supportive. There are many dining options, with Soprano being our favorite. The entertainment team works hard, and the programs are enjoyable. A few downsides to note: the house reef can be challenging to snorkel as it’s rocky and the water is shallow, so extra care is needed when entering the sea. During our stay, it was quite windy at times, which made it even more difficult. Also, beach vendors can be a bit bothersome. We purchased a massage service we weren’t fully satisfied with—so make sure to negotiate before buying anything as you don’t know what service you’re getting at the end of the day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it—especially for families with children.

It was one of the most remarkable experiences we've ever had. The room was superb, with a stunning view. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the food was beyond exceptional. Both the pools and the sea added to the amazing experience.

The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, evening entertainment and a kids' club. Fabulous hotel, recently built. We did enjoy our one-week holiday to the fullest. Everything was perfect: - friendly and helpful staff (reception, room service, restaurants, bars, beach, entertainment) - spacious and clean rooms (as a family we even got two connecting rooms and our children got twin beds, which they did appreciate) - very clean common areas (staff is constantly cleaning the floor near the swimming pools and maintaining the green areas) - 5 huge swimming pools (+ 2 for young children) - does not feel crowded at all! - live qualitative shows every evening (great artists) - friendly and discreet entertainment team - last but not least great food offer in all the restaurants. We liked the fact that the hotel has a reasonable size and that it does not exceed two storeys. Thank you all at Jaz Elite Amara for making our stay memorable and enjoyable ;-)

A recently renovated guest house, La Casa Guest House offers accommodation in Marsa Alam City. This beachfront property offers access to darts, free private parking and free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The manager, Natalie, and staff member, Kareem, were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate, just as depicted in the pictures. It truly offered great value for the money.
