Located in central San Jose, Hotel Casa 69 offers a garden patio, free Wi-Fi in public areas and individually decorated rooms with cable TV. The National Museum is just a 10-minute walk away. I had a lovely stay at Hotel Casa 69! The staff were all kind and always greeted with a smile, which made the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Justin for being especially helpful and friendly during my stay, and also to Winston and the rest of the team, you’re all amazing! I also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning, it was a great way to start the day and I loved experiencing a typical Costa Rican breakfast 😊 Thank you for the great hospitality. The hosts Annett, Fritz & Peter have an immense wealth of knowledge about the local area & will help with suggesting tours, restaurants & places of interest. 10/10 well done team ParadiseLodge! 🤩

Norem, Esteban and Valeria made us feel at home right away and went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast and dinner (with the hummingbirds around) were delicious, prepared to the point and with several dishes to choose from. The cabins are all new, very well designed and furnished, the bathroom with steady and immediate hot and cold water supply. A garden with a small trail are in the making and will make spending time in the crisp and clean mountain air even more worthwhile. We can highly recommend Curuba Lodge which became our favorite place in Costa Rica! Tip: Esteban can connect you with a few guides to see the rare and iconic Quetzal birds.

The breakfast was pretty good. I've certainly had worse. I love working at my desk. There's always coffee and tea and the staff is so accommodating.

The open fire is also lovely. The cabin is spacious and cosy. Internet was also good as was the TV.
