The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, taking the time to explain everything clearly and ensuring that our every need was met. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the frog tour, which we had the pleasure of experiencing twice—once in rain and once in dry weather. Each time was a unique and magical encounter with Costa Rica's incredible biodiversity. The journey to La Tigra was an adventure in itself, with the scenic drive requiring a 4x4 vehicle and a leisurely pace. But the anticipation of what awaited us at the lodge made it all the more exciting. In conclusion, La Tigra Rainforest Lodge surpassed all our expectations and left us with memories that will last a lifetime. It truly was the most memorable stay of our trip, and we can't wait to return someday.

Very very friendly and helpful staff, helped me with arranging the tours and updates; really nice environment with birds (and hummingbird) on site, and the staff kindly pointed out the sloth on the tree near the entrance and a beautiful lizard on the fence. location 5 minutes walk to downtown and very close to gorgeous restaurants. Have a beautiful view of the volcano with pool facilities great for cooling down after a long day. Comfy beds and well-functioning air cons, very clean environment and weirdly really little mosquitos.
