Parking available, wifi super speed. Very close to Bern and Fribourg to explore. Payment possible in cash or by card.

Situated a 4-minute walk from a lake and offering lake views from all units, Appartements Vacances Saars 33 features free WiFi, a garden and a terrace. The location of the apartment was excellent, close to several bus stations and just a 10-minute walk to the university. The best part was the amazing view of the lake. Having a well-stocked kitchen is a big plus for a relatively expensive place like Neuchatel. The price of the apartment was also very low compared to almost all the hotels. The nice couple who manages the property were very kind, despite the language barrier. They checked me in despite coming in late at night.

The hotel itself is gorgeous - out of a fairytale. The staff was amazing. The Salavaux/Vully area is so special. We rented a vespa from the hotel and drove around the countryside - and the hotel packed us a picnic lunch of cheese, ham, bread and wine. The staff helped us find the best wineries nearby. We had an incredible dinner at the hotel our first night. I couldn't say enough amazing things about our stay here.

Rosemarie was a wonderful host. She asked us what we preferred for breakfast and she made sure everything was prepared. Very nice coffee, the real one from an Italian-style coffee maker. We will be back if we happen to visit the area in the furure.

Located in Champ-du-Moulin in the Areuse Valley, Hôtel de la Truite offers spacious rooms with a kitchenette and a traditional restaurant and brasserie with a terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available. Everything. It's a truly cute historic hotel in a beautiful gorge I would never have found on my own. The rooms are nice, in a sort of historic-french decor. Breakfast is fantastic, nicely set, French bread, coffee to order, organic local yogurt, etc. Peaceful and quiet, a bucolic little river flowing by, walking trails, trees... it is all that it seems and more. Oh and fresh trout for dinner. What the French can do with a little butter, flour, lemon, and salt and pepper is amazing.

Set in a former brewery from the 18th century, this hotel is only a 15-minute walk away from the Old Town of Neuchâtel. Beautiful building with great staff - friendly and helpful. Accommodated us for an earlier breakfast as we were leaving very early.
