A great hotel with clean and spacious rooms, a nice communal space with a warm pool and seating areas. The pousade was close to the center of the town but away from the busy areas so there’s no noise at night. Staff was very kind and helpful. We also loved the breakfast. Overall an amazing stay and one of our best hotels in Brazil.

The house is very nice, has lots of wood, it feels airy and open, and has a beautiful tropical garden. The kitchen is full of everything you might need, the yard has a hammock and lifting weights for a workout. It also has plenty of tables, chairs and outlets to work on your laptop. The room is clean and spacious, the bathroom is great, and the AC works well. And my taxi driver told me this was the best neighborhood in Paraty. It felt extremely calm and safe to walk there and it was only a short walk from the center. The owner is a great guy, very nice and very helpful. And not to underestimate - the WiFi works great! If you work online, this is your place.

It is a less touristic part of Ilha Grande and great for hiking as well as relaxing in their garden or on one of te beaches. The breakfast was homemade and sitting on 'the grande table' you easily connect with other guests. The bed was very comfortable and the small kitchen gives you the possibility to cook your own dinner (bring fresh stuff from Angro dos Reis with you as the local supermarket does not have any fresh vegetables). Worth a visit!
