I enjoyed the wood burning fireplace during the cooler Spring days. The owners, Sofie’s parents who live at the property were very nice and helpful when needed (lighter and extra wood for the fireplace). Sofie is a perfect host and we enjoyed our chats.

The house was beautiful, tidy and clean, and breakfast was really good.

Beautiful location. Nice and peaceful after a long day driving through cities. Host was very welcoming and it was a nice touch to have a few refreshment drinks on arrival. Accomodation was spotless. Lovely to see the farm and horses, goats and cat.

The place is located in a UNESCO protected heritage town, so although the price was high but the host and the property compensated for the price. The host was warm and welcoming despite the language barrier. After a long day of travelling and sightseeing it was a pleasure to come back to the room for a good night's rest. The host had taken care of thinking of every tiny details that someone on entry to the house (before one gets a chance to go to the town). Highly recommend this place!

The combination of nature, comfort, and serenity created a perfect escape from the everyday hustle. Every detail of the home was thoughtfully arranged, ensuring maximum comfort. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area while still providing a peaceful countryside atmosphere. If you're looking for a luxurious yet cozy getaway with a touch of magic, Hoeve den Akker is an absolute gem. We cannot recommend it highly enough!
