The host is very kind and helpful, the house has all the comforts available and is clean, accessorised and cosy. The location is perfect for children, with a nice garden and things to play with. The position is great for walks in the forest and by the lake, but also very close to supermarkets and restaurants with the car. 10 minutes away by car, in Ekerö, there is the public swimming pool which has amazing pools both for adults and children.

We had everything we needed in the kitchen for simple cooking, and the place is equipped with a washer/dryer combo machine which is a must when you have young kids. The bathroom was a comfortably good size for a family of 4. The garden and outdoor seating area with a pond of pretty fish was a pleasure for our kids. Our lovely and very helpful host, Jonathan, was so kind to let our son feed the fish too! The location was great, offering tranquility for the evenings and perfect for sightseeing as it is close to Ekerö and Bromma for trips to Stockholm via public ferry/train/bus. It is also very close to good hiking spots! We have good friends in Sweden so we will definitely keep this address for our next trip to see them!

The owner is really kind. He took his time to show us the whole boat, including the engine, and advised on how to best experience being in the port. We stayed in the cabin of 5, in the lower deck, and to be aware there is not much daylight nor fresh air in that room, but that's the way the marins used to sleep so that's the beauty of it. Good for one night as a unique experience. The whole boat is well taken care of and clean. Highly recommended! :)

Nice to be in an inhabited flat for once, not one that is simply for rental. Gives a cosy, homey feeling. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped (though a few additional basic items would not hurt). Being an inhabited flat, you get a full range of things like salt, oil etc. I actually did not use those but it was nice to know they are there if you need them.
