On the hottest day 38C, we arrived early and Isabel kindly allowed us to check in early. Much appreciated. The accommodation was 💯 spotless!! As hikers we appreciated the kettle, fridge and washing line with pegs on the balcony.

This place is truly special — a beautiful project by Kristof and Koenraad that, as Koenraad said, comes straight from their hearts and is generously shared with other people From the main terrace, you can take in a stunning view of the entire valley. The grounds are gorgeous, and the pool is just perfect for a refreshing swim. You can also enjoy a game of pétanque while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Inside, the living room is cozy and welcoming, with incredible music playing — the hosts have fantastic taste. It’s the perfect spot to relax and gaze out over the valley. Kristof and Koenraad gave us a room with a balcony and a view stretching all the way to the ocean on the horizon. Everything was spotlessly clean and carefully arranged down to the smallest detail. Breakfasts were a real highlight — especially Kristof’s homemade pastries. Absolutely delicious! They also shared amazing local tips and recommendations every day, always checking in to make sure we had great plans and weren’t missing anything. Their care and attention were exceptional. I truly believe very few people in the world offer such kind of hospitality that Kristof and Koenraad do. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable for your vacation - this is the place. Kristof & Koenraad — thank you for everything!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location is pure wilderness, surrounded by nature, with breathtaking, unpolluted night skies full of stars. The breakfasts were fantastic, and the hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming. Al has amazing stories about wine and offers a great wine tasting experience, while Ana prepares delicious meals and is super helpful with tips on what to see in the area. The design of the place is stunning, the mattresses and bedding are top-notch, and everything feels truly first-class. It’s a unique spot, definitely worth visiting. We highly recommend it! My husband and I booked last minute. The night prior we had stayed in a four star hotel by the beach and we were much happier at Azul then the fancy hotel. Azul was cleaner, more modern and more comfortable. The location is perfect and the breakfast was great. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.
