Very nice camp, host was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Had lots of omani coffee, dates, and fruit. Showed me his camels and I got to help feed them. We also went quad biking in the dunes which I thought would be scary but it wasn't. Went above and beyond to give me a good experience, I am celiac and explained that I can't eat gluten and his sister made me a special breakfast. Pickup was easy and straightforward. Beautiful sunrise and sunset watching from the dunes. Best calue for money that i have found in Oman. Highly recommend!

Greeted well and easy to check in. We were offered a 4x4 sunset trip for a good price. Very glad we did it Halid was an excellent driver and guide. Found some baby camel's and visited a Bedouin tent then on to an excellent sunset.

They were very guest friendly, they gave us amazing tips and the desert activities available at the camp were comparatively more affordable. The camp tents were comfortable and it gives somewhat of an authentic desert experience. Thus, all together we had a great stay and the perfect desert experience. Kais was also very approachable and was trying to make our stay in the desert unforgettable. He planned with us our further trip and connected us with the right people.

Very nice stay close to Wadi Bani Khalid. Amazing dinner and breakfast for affordable price. Rooms were good and clean. There was "incident" with mosqitoes invasion in bathroom because previous guests destroyed mosquito net, but when reported to staff it was fixed in less than half hour. So it was great experience.

The location was fantastic, right next to a huge dune that was perfect for both the sunset and the sunrise. The bed was warm and comfortable, and I slept quite well, especially after a very good dinner. The staff were so attentive and friendly, and there's nothing negative to be said about this place. If you love the great outdoors you will love it here! Such a laid-back and relaxing camp to be in. It’s small; not too many tents and not many lights and is so quiet. Said is a friendly, warm and helpful host. Nothing is too much trouble for him! He comes from a family of Bedouins and still lives in the desert himself so you know you are getting an authentic experience. The food was delicious, the beds were comfortable and transport to and from the meeting point was FREE, which is awesome because we didn’t have a 4x4 to get there. We really loved our stay at SandGlass Camp.

The dome was definitely a good idea, we regretted that we only took one night! The camp is on the more calm side of the desert, which is cleaner with less lights so you can enjoy the desert better. We were warmly welcomed and received by our host. He prepared coffee when we arrived and we enjoyed doing sand boarding at sunset! The equipment in the dome are also really good, shower a bit cold in the evening but everything else was perfect

Ome of the best stay in Oman, The simple tent without airconditioning was nice and not too hot (at least at night) even in mid may. The staff was extremely friendly and kind and a pleasure to talk to. Location is magic the sunset on the top of the dune close by is spectacular and the stars at night are so many … Really good dinner and breakfast I would be back anytime!

The location was ideal... right off the highway and very easy to get to Wadi Bani Khalid quickly... which is what we wanted! Its a basic decent stay... with clean rooms and bathrooms.
