We stayed there for a few nights and we have to say it is exceptional. The location, the idea behind the whole place. The house is beautifully furnished and there really is everything you need. Owaka has all the stores, restaurants and cafés you could wish for. The location is perfect for exploring the Catlins.

Staying at the Tiny House was a great new experience close to nature. We loved the silence and peace below the big trees. We also loved the sound of the birds singing. The house was very clean, well equipped, and everything worked fine. A small roof above the front door would be more  comfortable, though. We can really recommend staying at Tiny House.

Hostess was very friendly and offered guidance on surrounding attractions and discussed the historical aspects of the complex which was enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable and warm. The kitchen facilities were serviceable.

An exquisite place. Everything was beautiful and well thought out - from the complimentary wine to the high quality bed linen. One of the best stays we’ve had. Make sure to set your alarm for the stunning sunrise in the morning. Wish we could have stayed longer!
