I recently stayed at a room I rented for a few nights in Maharagama, Sri Lanka. While the location was outside Colombo, I found it to be incredibly peaceful away from the city hustle. The room itself was clean, simple, and excellent value for the price. What really stood out, though, was the landlord. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful, addressing all my queries and offering great tips about the area. I appreciated his hospitality and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay near Colombo.

If I should come back to Colombo, I would stay here again in any case. The hotel shines with its cleanliness and is very professionally run. The room has everything and everything works perfectly. The staff was very friendly and supportive. I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel here. The closeness to the beach is brilliant. You can reach the ocean in just 2 minutes walking distance and have a beautiful beach for walking and swimming. On the other hand, you are not just in a touristic part of the city and have various local shopping facilities and restaurants right on your doorstep. The location is very quiet and the singing of the birds makes you feel like you're not in the big capital. The internet is very fast and working the whole time. The breakfast was very delicious.

A true gem! This boutique hotel exceeded all expectations. The interior design is absolutely stunning. Every detail, from the furniture to the lighting, reflects a perfect balance between modern comfort and timeless local charm. The staff were exceptional – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. This boutique hotel is an absolute gem. It's very comfortable, clean and friendly. The hospitality was so personal, they made us feel so special the whole time we were there. All our requests where met instantly. I also explained that it was my husband's birthday during our stay when we first arrived and they remembered this and provided us with a special breakfast including a birthday cake, which was really lovely. Thank you, especially to Dilshan, who was absolutely wonderful and Kasun for his support and welcome. In fact, the whole team were fantastic. Well done to all team at 55TG Boutique. 😊

    Most beautiful house I have ever seen in Sri Lanka. Very clean, spacious, nice design, such nice owners, very tasty big breakfast, they even organized us a driver for next day for a 4h drive.

    Ground Floor Apartment had no ventalation or any form of sunlight coming in, as this the entire apartment was selaed. Felt like your stucked in side a safe House. Experienced a very unpleasent stay. The Staff overchrged me at the check-in and didnt want to call Booking.com and fix their issue. Later asked to book directly instated of Booking.com and later started increasing the price ! Good Location! But beaware of the extra charges they charge!!

    The place looks very nice and it is very clean. We liked the host very much, and he was really pleasant to deal with. He would bring us breakfast every morning from the restaurant. The view from my studio apartment was also great. It was great to be able to have a washing machine. AC worked well for me.
