Owners were such a cute family and always smiling to us. Owners mother cooks delicious food and brings to you with open heart. Room was good and cozy, with hot water and air conditioner. Maskeliya is a lovely little town with a lot of great things to do in the surrounding area (Sri Pada, tea plantations, Gartmore Falls). Mountain View rooms were spacious and well equipped. Ishara and her husband, Yugantha, were fantastic hosts - they took care of our every need (e.g., organising transport, tours, food preferences), always with a smile on their face. The place itself is lovely with a balcony overlooking the hills & a spacious double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Everything was very clean. The host gave us an extra drying rack to hang out some wet clothes we had. The location is very good, we did a tour of the beautiful lake & waterfalls by tuk tuk which was incredible (the views!)
