We loved staying at the De Saram House, and were very excited to stay in one of Bawa’s projects in Colombo - it did not disappoint! Both the private rooms and communal areas are beautiful, and it is a very peaceful environment, whilst still being well located within the city. The dining room is a standout, and was a great place to eat breakfast with the sunlight filtering in. Anthony and the staff were very kind and helpful, and the breakfast was fantastic. We definitely hope to be back!

My stay was extremely comfortable. The apartment I stayed in was well appointed. It was clean, quiet, and right in the middle of Colombo. And the staff were incredibly accommodating. I lost my phone on a tuktuk and one of the managers spent two hours chasing the tuktuk, with me on my laptop with “Find my phone” locating the phone. Can’t recommend this place enough. Book it now!

It's a beautiful, impeccably appointed, independent room with a sitting area and a small courtyard. None of the cramped feel of some hotel rooms. Wide, comfortable bed. Good shower. It all seems new in Dec 2024. The charming host lives in the building and has clearly put a lot of thought into everything, right down to the complimentary ear plugs. I'm sensitive to street noise but I didn't find it a problem. The location is not exactly central but there are plenty of cafes/restaurants in the vicinity. The host is happy to advise if necessary.

    We found Squire Condo during an emergency visit to Colombo and we found it’s ideal for family to spend time on a holiday or other visit. The place is very clean and tidy, amenities are very new and were supported all our needs. The neighbourhood is very calm, quiet and peaceful. The owner himself was available to support for all our needs, very friendly and respectful individual. He facilitated our stay was very comfortable. Highly recommend to any looking for temporary accommodation.
