We had a wonderfull time at Thambu Illa. Mathu and Sutha did everything possible to make our 3 night stay a pleasant one. They also organised a private guided tour of Jaffna and the peninsula. It was really worth it. The breakfast was according to our wish srilankan or western. Lunch/dinner is ordered from out and very tasty. They have reliable TukTuk drivers and tipps for Jaffna eateries on hand. We want. to come back!!

Tony's place is a must stay for Jaffna. Located an easy 25min walk from the centre of town, it also has all the essentials nearby (shops, restaurants etc). Very clean and everything you could need. I stayed twice and Tony is very helpful with directions and recommendations plus is always up for a chat. There's lots to explore in Jaffna, but it is also nice to have a restful place to come back to and recharge. Thanks Tony!!

Absolutely lovely stay at Munril Guest! The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with both air conditioning and a fan. The villa itself is beautiful, with a peaceful and green setting just a few minutes by tuk-tuk from the city center, a perfect balance of quiet and convenience. The facilities are excellent, but what really stands out is the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. They even offered free rides to local sights, which was a wonderful bonus. Breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaffna!

Helpful property manager (Mathushan) who was always around and willing to assist. Fantastic Jaffna breakfast served when ordered the night before. Clean indoor swimming pool (though not very deep) to help relieve from the Jaffna sun. Great rooms and bathroom. Interesting local art/photos on the walls as well.

The family were so lovely and very helpful and kind. They have thought of everything to make the stay so good. Having a fridge/freezer to cool water etc so important when it is so hot. Great suggestions of places to visit in Jaffna. We recommend staying here for sure. 😊
