The hosts were so kind. They offered us a juice on the arrival and at the end he left us at the station with his tuk tuk. Clean and spacious room. The view and the sunset from the tree house is so perfect and relaxing. Excellent relation price/quality. Super recommend.

What an amazing place with wonderful hosts!! The room is very large with eveything you need. The house itself has a beautiful garden. Main road is easy reachable by 15 minutes walk. I would have loved to stay longer!! I will come back for sure :)) Thank you again for everything!

The Hotel is located in a very spacious location. We got one of the newer rooms. The hosts Lieyon & Wanda are very helpful. Explained everything you need to know at the check in. We had dinner one night and was tasty. Breakfast was very good, with fruits and vegetables and a curry. Fruit juice and a choice of Tea or Coffee. The pool has a jacuzzi which was excellent to help you relax after a busy day.

Ruwan and his family/team are great hosts. They organise all you need and more if you have issues (like us with incovenient cash notes, shuttle from the train station, etc.). Would always recommend staying in Visu Villa hotel if one is in the region of Habarana. The food is great as well and always fresh made. The tours are fantastic as well.

Very close to town and the air conditioning was great. The owner is so lovely and organised so much for us. Brought us around on his tuk tuk free of charge. The breakfast was also amazing! Highly recommend. 10mins on a tuk tuk from the train station.

This was one of the less places in years of travelling we won't forget in our whole life. The owner Vimal and his wife Maneke are such lovely and great people, we're really happy to get the chance in our lifes to get to know this kind people. Vimal helped us like your own father with all we needed. Beautiful shady garden to relax on your own terrace and big breakfast made with a lot of love. If we come back to Sri Lanka, the fist thing is to book at room here again!! Absolutly recommandation!

I recently stayed at Habarana New Star Home Stay for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation offers three rooms: two with air conditioning and one with a fan, all featuring ensuite bathrooms and kept very clean. The friendly hosts were a highlight, providing excellent hospitality and offering tuk tuk services to nearby attractions. The breakfast served was delicious, adding to the overall pleasant stay. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from town. Highly recommended!

you can not go wrong with this well managed hotel. rooms are convenient and very clean. the included breakfast is realy good and kalhara is a smart host and gives any help with safaris, renting scooter, transport to or from his location. especially when you arrive by train a quick transport can be arranged by telling kalhara as soon as you know your estimated arrival time. best idea for me was renting i scooter. but you can walk to the village just 800m away. i can recommend the place.... thx

Nice modern place which was very clean with a beautiful garden. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and also included coffee or tea. Dinner was offered during my stay at an additional price and was also outstanding. Great location, very central if you want to visit Sigiriya, Pidurangala, Ancient City of Polonnaruwa, Dambulla and Ritigala. There are also a lot of opportunities to see wildlife including elephants in the area. Would highly recommend for anyone travelling in Sri Lanka.
