I loved everything, especially the owners, Pearl and Ranjan. They treated us like their own children—they are truly wonderful people. The breakfast was delicious; Pearl is an amazing cook, and Ranjan joined us for a walk around the area. If we ever return to Matale, this will undoubtedly be our stop again. Thank you for everything. The breakfast and dinner were very delicious and there was a large selection. Ian is an excellent cook 😀. The room with a window like a triangle was very special, it had a comfortable bed and an extraordinary view. Supun and Ian, who operate the resort, are very friendly and nice hosts. Supun also helped us to see the beautiful nature there, nice ricefields and unfortunately Riverston in mist. We want to return if it's possible

The host and his family are really kind and helping to show you around. Learned a lot about Buddhism as well which was really nice, it’s a really nice experience and you can really see the local life there. Not a lot of tourism.

Sarath and his wife Deepthi are the most delightful hosts. We had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home in the jungle. We had a steam massage (highly recommended) and Sarath took us for walks around his spice plantation. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and chill, and you are looked after so well. Deepthi’s cooking is amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure
