He couldn’t have done more for us and even took our bags to the boat for our onward travel. He has great restaurant recommendations and clearly puts a lot of effort into making his guests feel at home. The rooms are very clean, great a/c and a stocked mini bar that you pay for at the end! We could walk into the centre of Don Det or over the bridge to Don Khone. Comfortable beds, clean room. Easy check in and check out, carried out capably by the owners' young daughters. The location was perfect and it had a balcony that was overlooking the Mekong. The view was magnificent. The place was quiet and beautiful, cleaned daily if you want and also they give a large bottle of water daily. W e liked it so much e extended by several days. The balcony had a table and two chairs. This is because there aren't that many budget options with AC and we were so happy to have the AC. The room was big, cool and comfortable. I was worried about mosquito's and ants because of other reviews I read but we didn't see any at all in our room in the two nights that we stayed. The location was great.
