Beautiful property which is very well looked after, clean and super comfortable. Convenient for restaurants, sites, etc. The owner is a lovely man who gave recommendations for places to visit and restaurant’s which we tried and they were delicious!

Breakfast was really good, you could have it in your room or in a quiet garden. The room was just as described. Hosts went out of their way to assist me with booking transportation to the train station when leaving as it seemed impossible given that it was a national holiday. Gave me a goodbye present. They were available at all times. The place was on the main street of the village however it was very quiet. Close to everything.

As soon as we both arrived in this wonderful place we were met with a warmth and kindness that we will certainly take with us on the rest of our travels. The ‘Alleyway' is a cosy and relaxing refuge to explore what Jeonju has to offer. The food, art, music, and—best of all—company, has only added to the charm of this lovely space. The landlady is lovely though she doesn’t speak English she will translate through an app and she is lovely. Breakfast was lovely. It is a quaint spot excellent value for money. The room was a perfect size as I was alone. Typical hanok with floor bedding which you put away. Hard to find initially as it’s tucked away behind other houses but it is central to the hanok part of town. Easy get around and close to the visitor centre where you will get a map of the entire hanok area.

When we arrived at the guest house (our room was 'Mulbit Byeolchae') it was starting to rain. The manager who was very welcoming and helpful, allowed us to check in earlier than the supposed check-in time. Its location is right next to the Gyeonggijeon Shrine and traditional village of JeonJu and is also very close to the bus stop (119) to JeonJu train station. The guest house is a small traditional Han-Ok. Cosy and charming with potted plants, ceramic ornaments and embroideries. Coffee machine, tea making facilities and small kitchen with fridge and microwave is facilitated in the living room; a nice sized bedroom for two of us and the Futon was comfortable. We enjoyed drinking tea ( and the coffee was really good too) sitting on the 툇마루 (narrow wooden floored veranda) looking at the small and dainty, rained garden. The manager gave us plenty of general information about the area and what was on that day. Its location being in the middle of tourist area, we were anticipating some noises but the surrounding area including the guest house was peaceful. Strongly recommended.
