I really enjoyed my stay here, its normal old-style japanese family house so staying here was unique experience different from hotels. Also owner was very friendly and even drove me to the supermarket :-)

Very convenient small house with many bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is not yet fully equipped but is spacious enough. The place is very clean. It is ~15 min walk from the train station.

The house is extremely modern, and well equipped. The host is super friendly and will go out of his way to make your stay comfortable. He’s also very funny! We really appreciated the help setting up a bbq to host with our friends, taking us to buy the groceries and dropping us off at the start of the walk. We haven’t had hospitality like this anywhere else in Japan so far!

    Overall a fantastic stay. Location needs a car but is very close to magome and right next to a river. Fantastic indoor and out door onsen options that change gender overnight. There is an interconnecting large onsen facility right next door which has children playground and even better bathing options thats free to staying guests of ryokan. Downsides are food is just average, and the rooms do show a bit of wear but are clean.
