Excellent location in Ortigia. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Stefano, the host, was extremely nice and helpful, offering us best recommendations for making the best of our trip in Sicilly. Breakfast was served on the terrace (sufficient options and excellent quality).

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The beds were incredibly soft and comfortable, and the boutique design of the hotel was absolutely stunning – full of unique decorations and stylish details that made the atmosphere truly special. The staff were extremely polite and helpful throughout my stay. They gave me great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, and even assisted with arranging my airport transfer. Everything was handled perfectly and with great care – top-class service all the way. Highly recommend!

The property is outstanding both with its luxurious decor and commodities! The room, felt more like an apartment; very airy and spacious! Everywhere and everything was spotless and the attention to little details made our stay even more enjoyable! We were greeted by Paolo who takes care of guests in the afternoon and Pamela who is usually around in the mornings! Both were extremely kind and passionate about their roles making us feel welcome instantly. The wellness centre located on the lower floor of the villa added a brilliant element to the place, where one could unwind and relax upon return! The villa is set slightly apart from the hustle of the town centre yet very close to restaurants and many places worth exploring in the area like Ortygia which is only a 10 min drive away! Definitely worth it! Would definitely stay here again should I revisit Siracusa. It is advisable to have a car though!

I can’t tell you enough how welcome Francesco and Silvia made us feel at Fortaleza Charme House. We had decided quite last minute to squeeze a day in Siracusa into our Sicily trip and booked our room based largely on good reviews and great location. We weren’t disappointed! The property was quaint, our room was lovely, and all major points of interest (spectacular BTW) were just a short walk away. Silvia even messaged us a detailed list of places to eat and drink she thought we would during our short stay - we tried a couple and she was right! The housekeeping staff was equally friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we return to Siracusa. Grazie Mille Francesco and Silvia!

The professionalism, very clean and top-notch room, friendliness of the staff (especially Siria), and overall experience. Just watch your head if you're tall when entering the building as it has that old style italian door that are very short. Other than that, it's fully renovated and brand new.

    -the apartment is very spacious, very clean -the house is beautiful and in a quiet area. We can hear the sea at night. -the owners are friendly and helpful. Gave us many tips. -insect protection net (or how it's called) on every window. No mosquitos!

    Our friendly host Elio met us to make sure everything was in order. The house suited our little group (two couples) very well for a short stay. The kitchen was good and well equipped, we enjoyed cooking some of our meals there. The location was great for our visits to nearby Syracuse, and we also enjoyed driving to other wonderful towns like Noto, Scicli and Ragusa. Our host could not have done more for us - including provision of a supply of homegrown veg and delicious passata which we used for cooking.

    We had a wonderful time! The apartment had everything we needed: spacious fully equipped kitchen, instant hot water and good water pressure, comfortable beds, great couch, large TV, a nice and spacious balcony with sea view. Location just a few steps from the sea. Communication with the landlord was great!

    This is a lovely agriturismo in a great location not only 15 mins from Siracusa. We chose it to get away from the city for a few days and we got a peaceful, beautiful spot in the country. Christina, the host, is very helpful and friendly and a great person to chat to - thank you.

    Stunning property with a beautiful garden in a quiet location, specious & modern & clean rooms, two good size bathrooms, very comfy beds, kitchen has all that is needed (a coffee machine is a bonus), large sun terrace to chill out, great sunrise&sunset views. Secure parking. Fantastic location, approx 20 mins by car to Syracuse, and easy to travel to other cities, such as Noto, Ragusa and various beaches. Brilliant host Paolo, great communication, and lots of great travel tips. I will not hesitate to visit again. Thank you!

    If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing location, this is it. It’s approx. 15 mins to Syracuse by car. Breakfast was delicious with an assortment of home cooked pastries set amongst beautiful old buildings and garden. Rooms were well decorated and very clean. There’s one restaurant on site with fine dining. The staff were very helpful however I felt it lacked some atmosphere.
