I would like to express my high satisfaction with the accommodation at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff very helpful and the service excellent. The hotel provided a pleasant environment which contributed to comfort and satisfaction throughout the stay. Excellent Indian cuisine and a wide variety of meals. Thank you very much for a great experience.

Wonderful experience at Ginger House. It was our first day in Kerala and still it is one of the greatest place we have been. THe location is great, walking distance from major hot-spots. The building is incredible, a house that mixes ancient architecture and super warm ambience. We have been trying 2 different rooms (due to last-minute booking) and both they were amazing, especially the one with the balcony overviewing the river which is right in front of the Hotel. Rooms are big, spacious and comfortable, their architecture is amazing. There is a forniture-art museum inside, many artifacts are around the area, in the courtyard and garden which are both facing the river. THe service of George, the person who welcomed us was superlative, he has helped us in solving many issues with the car we were driving and has been always very present when we needed. Breakfast is really great as well, for the location (again in front of the river) and for the quality of the food. We really enjoyed very much the place and recommend it.

So you have decided to come to Fort Kochi- great choice! You can experience a lot of traditional Kerala culture here. It is a very safe feeling place where you can see markets, traditional fishing, a lot of art and taste delicious food. Jasmine Villa is close by everything you will need to see! Whilst being far enough out of the main city for it not to be filled with other tourists and noise. You can either walk to the town or get a very inexpensive tuk-tuk. The house itself is surrounded by beautiful gardens which Jasmine grows her own vegetables that she uses in her cooking. It’s off the main road so it’s a lot quieter than expected. Yet it’s only a short walk- about 100 m to the main road. Jasmine and Stanley welcomed us into the lovely home, and we felt like good friends immediately! Both Stanley and Jasmine speak very good English, communication was never an issue and any questions we had Stanley quickly responded to. The rooms are very tidy and have everything you need-such as individual bathrooms and air-conditioning. The bedding was very clean and fresh, and so was the bathroom. All of the windows and doors have mosquito shields which put our minds at rest, as there was never any unexpected bugs in the room. Throughout the week that we stayed here, I worked online, and the Internet was superb! It was good enough for me to online teach without any disturbances. Stanley arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport and drop us off, so this was nice and easy, and he also arranged for us to do a backwater tour, which was superb! I feel that by going through him it made it more reputable and so we had a great experience. Finally, I want to highlight just how good Jasmine’s cooking is! Staying here will feel like you are living with an official chef! Every morning (and most dinner times) we ate with Jasmine and Stanley, and it was incredible! All of her ingredients are so fresh and phenomenally delicious!
