    If you want to stay in a castle and still travelling on a low budget - this is the place. Location is superb. Especially if you are up to hike Ben Lomond. The hostel is fine as usual.

    The staff were great! Very welcoming and helpful. Dinner was good. The location is fab and the comfortable lounge with an amazing view was so relaxing. The hostel is currently undergoing some refurbishment we noticed some older style shower units and some lovely new ones. The hostel was immaculate absolutely spotless - no easy task with walkers to and fro - well done!

    excellent location at the shore of Loch Lomond. spacious lounge with brilliant views. property is very clean with good number of washrooms, well equipped self catering kitchen and good mattresses. most important the staff is very friendly making the stay very enjoyable.
