    The restaurant is lovely the rooms as okay they could do with some upgrades definitely need new bathrooms but it’s perfectly adequate for a short stay and small budget. The staff are lovely. The location is strange off a main road but wasn’t an issue for us.

    Great food, friendly staff, exceptional accommodation and location ideal for Whitby. We loved the seating area outside also. The views of the countryside were amazing too.

    Great price, location was fine for where we needed to go.Bar and food prices were reasonable.Beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable.Staff were friendly and helpful....For me the food wasn't served hot but was pleasant

    Loved The Cross Keys. Beautiful place in spperb location. Couldn't have been happier with facilities. Very clean and all public rooms so beautifully decorated- loved all the little touches of fresh flowers; cosy lamps; candles etc. Every staff member so nice and helpful. Will definitely stay there again. Superb breakfast choice! The bar area had a very relaxing nice feel to it too. Their was only 2 minor points that felt I had to give a 8 instead of 10 rating.
