Location, lovely village just outside of Whitby with a 30 minute walk along the river into Whitby. Property was designed/decorated to a very high standard with everything required for a special few days away. Jackson’s butchers next door…amazing breakfast sandwiches made the holiday so hassle free for breakfast

This was a perfect stay for our walking holiday. A warm welcome, everything you could need for breakfast set out thoughtfully so you can help yourselves at a time that suits you. Relaxing in the lounge in the evening with a game of scrabble - absolutely marvellous. We loved it, thank you!

    Room very clean, tea and coffee provided and topped up regularly, great breakfast that could be changed to individual requirement. Very welcoming hosts that knew the area and could recommend places to eat and visit locally. Good location with short walk to the village or the NYM Railway.

    The staff were exceptional all friendly and very helpful. The hotel and room was spotless and the food was excellent. An ideal base if travelling to nearby Whitby just located a couple of mins away from the NYMR and also dog friendly.

    Great location, so peaceful. The accommodation was really lovely, so comfortable, so tastefully designed and decorated. Spotlessly clean, with lots of thought put into every detail. Our hosts were lovely too.

    Amazing converted cow shed , done sympathetically and with amazing views in a stunning location . Modern , spotless , lovely helpful hosts who were always available to give advice on places to visit walk eat etc . I particularly liked the conservation efforts Fran and Andy were making and the use of environmentally products and recycling facilities too , they are really preserving the heritage of the farm and it was so lovely to share this for a few days . The welcome pack was also very lovely . Will definitely be returning this year
