Beautiful location, quirky little property. Loved the personal touches around the place, such as old photos and the history of the cottage. Everything was thought of. There was information of nearby attractions and a book Maggie wrote about the Starlings. We visited the starlings on Aberystwyth pier and we also went to Devils bridge waterfalls and watched the Red Kites being fed at Bwlch Nant yr Arian-2pm in the winter. We had bad weather on New Year but we felt really cosy in the cottage with the fireplace. Such a lovely trip.

    We stayed in a front facing suite, top floor, on the DBB deal. The room was great. Very clean room and bathroom (zero mold in the bathroom!), the bed was huge and very comfortable, the radiators were digital temperature controlled so you can heat the room as you prefer (though they may be timed to go off at night), and the WiFi connection was fine. The staff and service were very good. The cooked breakfast options were varied and tasty.

    Great location but more than this - it is a very friendly hotel run by excellent staff and management who seem very happy in their jobs. Lovely spacious comfortable room - beautifully renovated with a mix of modern and original features. Fantastic shower. Good dinner and great breakfast included in our deal.
