The owner gave us clear information on how to reach the place and park the car once arrived at the property. The place itself is a super nice depandance of the property where the owners live. You have everything you need even for a longer stay (we were there for just one night), providing a fully functional kitchen and a nice living room in addition of course to the large bedroom and bathroom.

We stayed for 1 night in the Dorvel & Hen family suite and we loved it. The 2 rooms were very comfortable and well-heated. The bathroom was huge & spacious. Hardly any noises from the pub downstairs during the night. Our stay came with breakfast in the pub; prepared upon order with quality ingredients and we enjoyed it very much. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves in the morning and the wait staff was very attentive. Check-out was hassle-free.

    Cosy, comfy cottage, well situated in a quiet location a two minute walk to a great pub/Indian takeaway (very good curry, beer wasn't too bad either). Close to Stroud. The carefully considered garden is fabulous. Parking was handy too. Well equipped. Recommended. It's perfect for 3 and we really enjoyed our 3 day break exploring the Cotswolds and coming home to Folly Cottage.

    A cosy cottage ideal for two or three people. It's in a quiet village and ideal for a visit to the Cotswolds. This was our third stay which was for our visit to Badminton Horse Trials

    Superb location for the Cotswolds, lovely cosy cottage with tasteful decoration, well-equipped kitchen, garden would be lovely in warmer or drier weather. Enjoyed the wood-burning stove in the evening. And indeed, lots of character. Can thoroughly recommend.
