Very nice hosts with a lot of sightseeing tips, english and french speaking. The house is beautiful and there is a cute host dog entertaining you aswell. The breakfast was of good quality.

That was a last minute reservation during our trip through France done just few hours earlier. Monique was really kind and gave us a ful support because we were late on arrival. We were traveling with kids and friends, and on arrival we had a warm welcome and a lot of info about whatever we need. We were hosted in two fantastic old-fashioned rooms and in the morning we had a wonderful, very varied breakfast with a lot of non-industrial local homemade delicacies. Iti is already a plan to get back there in few years when we will take our trip through France w/o kids ;-)

This place is a total gem in the middle of the beautiful area of Normandie. Cute cottage with a very good decoration style. Very charming and helpful owners, they gave us tons of good recommendations for the area. The breakfast is variated and fantastic, with very fresh and delicious options.

    Dinner in the evening was fabulous. The dishes were all cooked to a really high standard and were fantastic. Attention to detail and superb waiting staff in that perfect french fashion. Even the breakfast the next day was elegant! We had a superior room at the back so couldn't hear any noise. It was very clean, spacious and quiet. Staff were all very efficent but the star was the food - truly delicious.

    The pictures of this property undersell, how beautiful this property is. It is in a lovely quite rural location, but the nearest village is only a short drive less than 10 minutes, which has a great little supermarket and wonderful bakery. When not relaxing at property in a lovely pool, we explored the local area, lots of great restaurants recommendations provided and did a day trip to Mont Saint Michel about 1 hour away. Would 100% recommend and hope to return at some stage.

    Location was perfect for us, friends living close by, so booked for that reason. That said, what a find, lovely place and staff at the Auberge de L’abbaye. Staff amazingly hard working, from breakfast to night closing. Breakfast great.
