The hotel/bar/resto was most accomdating as we 3 cyclists arrived. Problem: it was on a French national holiday. Most local restos were closed as was their kitchen so they kindly offered us an excellent cheese and salad evening meal. Perfect! After cycling n Km we just needed beer, bread and salad. With that we were off to their really good bedrooms and, in the morning to a good breakfast

Wonderful place! IT is located in the quiet , charming village, among the vineyards. The building is very old with a long history. Room was spacious, well furnished, with amazing old fireplace and very comfortable bed. IT is clear that the host pays a lot of attention to all decor details. What a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I were cycling between Saumur and Tours, and were lucky enough to have booked here. The hostess was amazing, great sense of humour, and a super breakfast. Room was lovely with great personal touches. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful rooms with terrace area attached to the main house but you felt very separate. The bonus here is the pizza restaurant run by the couple at the entrance to the house. The pizzas are made in a wood fired oven and are fabulous. The restaurant is run by the couple who are very helpful, friendly, and efficient. We really appreciated the great food and service after having completed a busy season in catering ourselves. Breakfast was also very good and plentiful. Lovely walks for our dog on the doorstep also a bonus. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay.
