Beautifully and loving renovated 17 century farm buildings set in 11 hectares of field woodland. So peaceful Very traditional French furniture and farmhouse layout. Charming owner and family run business. Made us feel so welcome. It's certainly a rural location. The younger members of our family enjoyed the freedom of the countryside and the wildlife proximity If you enjoy getting away from the madding crowd then this is the place to stay.

Valerie made us very welcome and offered us a delicious homemade non-alcoholic fruit cocktail on our arrival. Our room was large and beautifully furnished and the bed particularly comfy. The ensuite shower room was modern with a large cubicle and powerful shower and there was a separate WC. Breakfast next morning was delicious with homemade cakes and preserves and cherries and strawberries from the garden. The timber decked swimming pool area was stunning and the whole refurbishment/remodeling of the old farm buildings which make up this delightful chambre d'hotes has been done with thought, imagination and flair. It is very high quality and I would recommend it to anyone. A real shame we were only staying one night, but this was our first of three overnight stops on our way back to St Malo from visiting friends near Carcassonne in the South West.

We had a long journey and were very late checking in, our host very kindly stayed to welcome us and that was so nice after a 12 hour drive and it was quite late. Our room was clean and tidy and this was a fantastic stopover before our onward journey south. The breakfast was pleasant also. We will definitely stay again another time.
