The staff was exceptionally enthusiastic and cooperative, and the breakfast and food otherwise left little to be desired! The cherry on top of the icing are the hosts, the very kind and friendly couple who run and operate this lovely facility!!

We are 2 long distance cyclists riding from the UK to Italy and the Gasthof Rose was exactly on our route in the centre of the delightful town of Hornberg just around the corner from the marketplace. It is a very comfortable traditional hotel run by a very charming lady. Good restaurant and an excellent breakfast. Very quiet. Very good secure bike storage in the hotel's garage. Very comfortable.

    Amazing place, super location. Had everything we could want within the property and the hosts were very friendly, helping up to sort wifi etc when we couldn't find it. They also left cold local beer and water in the fridge which was very welcome in the heat when we arrived.

    Central location for village. Lovely spacious and clean property. Amazing views. Close to train station. We were able to use the public transport for free using the guest card which was a bonus. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definately return.
