An amazing stay with super hosts - Fernando went out of his way to make us feel welcome including organising a snorkeling trip for us and helping us with our transfer back to Cartegena. Really comfortable and clean cabins and breakfast made by Erica was delicious. The location is great being so close to the beach and restaurants.

The place is absolutely wonderful, and the service is exceptional. They offer spectacular tours that allow you to connect deeply with nature. You also have the option to explore the reefs on your own. Strolling around the island provides an opportunity to interact with the local community. The food is excellent, offering a wide variety of options on the restaurant menu, including vegetarian dishes and artisanal pizzas. At sunset—one of the most beautiful on the island—you can enjoy delicious cocktails. The service is outstanding and makes you feel right at home.

Darvin is very welcoming at hotel and its one of the best settings on the island - we had a wander round and compared. If you want a relaxing stay on Isla grande then this is the place. Most of the others are big hotels playing house music all day or the location is not as good. The food here is great and the activities are very fun, snorkeling just Infront of the hotel suited us as there are plenty of fish to see

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We stayed here for two nights and wish we could stay more. It is pure relaxation - island life in a rustic and calm way. The huts are perfect, clean, bug free and just what you need. Don't expect luxury, but you have comfy beds, mosquito nets, cold running water, wifi and electricity (we had it all day and night unlike other places). The staff are fantastic and friendly, even though we spoke no Spanish and they don't know English (google translate becomes your best friend), they were super helpful and cute. They also offer snorkeling and nighttime plankton trips, although we didn't do these. The free breakfast is great too, and we paid 35,000 for lunch on our final day which is an absolute must try - the ceviche was out of this world and comes with a huge salad, rice, fries and a drink. The location itself is a little tucked out of the way but reachable from Playa Libre beach and La Cocoterra beach in under 5 mins (both are great local beaches- the latter is way busier but has more shade). Make sure you take cash - this is a cash only island.

I loved this place, the staff were very friendly and the food they cook is great. The island has a lot of these eco/ beach-camping hostels with activities like snorkeling and is fun to stay two days or more. Easy to meet other people and beach dogs :)

Just a warning that this is a truly Eco Hotel. You will get two big buckets of water a day, one for showering and one for toilet flush and facilities are simple. If you don't have a problem with that, you will have an amazing time :) We also had a bungalow so can't comment on other rooms. -the hosts are really great. Friendly and helpful. -both the popular beach and the private beach ate really close. We loved the private beach. -the bungalow is gorgeous, really gives off that relaxing beach atmosphere with hammocks for chilling and napping. -it is very clean and it is cleaned everyday -we had no issues with any noise, slept like babies -two friendly dogs always up for cuddles (but also won't bother you if you don't like dogs) -just a great atmosphere.

Eco Hotel Los Erizos is located in Islas del Rosario. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. You will find concierge service at the property.

I can totally recommend this place! A very nice place, with a privat beach facing to the east, so you have the best view for the sunset. We stayed 2 nights and were the only guests. The view and nature is wonderful especially as the place is very quiet so you see a lot of special birds and fish. They offer some activities and we booked the snorkeling for a fair price as it was very privat, just us too, and two persons from the hotel. The restaurant is very good but be prepared that they mostly serve fish, obviously. In the morning they head out to the ocean to catch crayfish which you can eat at the restaurant and you choose your own catch fresh from the water. The place has a lot of shady places for the hot time at noon.

Gregorio (host) is amazing and very helpful with what to visit or where to book tours and stuff. The place is of course a camping spot and you should arrive with expectations of natural sounds.
