Cheap hotels in Chengde

Location is superb - right next to the exit of the Mountain Villa. The staff were incredibly helpful. Allen in particular was hugely attentive with assistance in finding good local food, ordering and even sourcing the local rose pastry delicacy that I'd heard about. My room was wonderfully comfortable and spacious. Would be very happy to stay there again

It was amazing. The hotel is nice and clean. Room was spacious and modern. Breakfast had a wide choice and everything tasted great. The location is perfect, just a few minutes way from the Mountain Resort. But the true star of the hotel are the staff. They were so welcoming!!! And whatever we needed, they were able to provide in a few minutes. They were also very helpful in helping us to navigate around the city and gave us good tips to restaurants and street food markets. Overall one the best hotel experiences I have had in China. And probably one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in general.

It is a very new hotel located at Yuan Bao Shan (symbolize by an ingot shape rock on top of the hill) which we can see it from our hotel room. The decor, furniture and equipment are modern and new. Breakfast is plentiful, good varieties and fresh. Opposite to the hotel there is an eat street with lots of options. The musical theatre is also located opposite to the hotel by crossing a pedestrian bridge. The lighting, bed, pillow are comfortable. There are bus stops located conveniently near the hotel will take you straight to city center or the Unesco World Heritage Chengde Summer Palace and all other main attractions. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We are happy and appreciative with the daily room make up and clean by the cleaner.
