The room was very large with air conditioning. We were given a free upgrade to 2 queen beds instead of one queen bed. The lovely lady at the check-in desk let us park out front with our truck, I think because we had kayaks and bikes on it. The hotel is on the main highway. No road noise, quiet room. We had a fridge in the room but no microwave. The sparkling clean bathroom had all amenities including a hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable and fresh. 2 blocks from the ferry terminal and three restaurants.

This place is a gem, a rare find. The location is as beautiful as it gets and the views are breathtaking. We stayed in the Queen room and the balcony overlooks the river and with some luck and a pair of binoculars, pods of whales. Was here for the second time. The third shall not be too far. Ps. James is a great host. He made sure we were comfortable in every way. The kitchen is stocked with coffee and pastries in the morning. Can't say enough good things about the place.
