Everything about the hotel was good. The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean. It had a comfortable bed, easy to use shower and it was easy to charge my phone and use wifi. The location was excellent and was close to everything in town.

Everything! The accommodations where spectacular! The bed was really comfortable. The location of the cottage nestled in the forest was so peaceful. There are many fun things to do in the area, hiking trails, swimming, venturing into nearby towns and taking in all that nature has to offer. Lisa and Ian provided everything we needed for a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this off the grind oasis! I will definitely visit Barkview Hideaway again!

Relaxing looking over the beautiful lake. The property was perfect for our stay. Loved the high ceilings. Comfy bed lovely soft new towels. Toiletries provided. Great coffee maker. Easy check in procedure. We enjoyed a morning swim in the lake. We returned for a second visit.

We had an amazing stay at this super well equipped holiday home - great location at the lake with bbq, kayaks, stand-up paddling etc free to use :)! Also easy access via key lock box and nice contact with the very responsive & helpful host!
