Located in the lovely area & easy to access to the touristic points, as well as the supermarket. The whole idea of rennovating the old wardners' house into the hotel is a very good chance to acknowledge the city's history. Their complemntary services were also nice... welcome drink at the Gimlet bar, wine & beer at the fridge... if you love drinking definitely here's the place.

The most cheerful and friendly staff! The bathrooms are clean, and the outdoor area is incredibly spacious. It seems there are plenty of activities every week for guests to participate in. Although the rooms are converted from the prison, they are very comfortable, and each bed has a curtain for privacy. The front desk sells some essential items.

Location is ideal and central to everything. Public transport was only minutes walk and drop off to and from Lodge. A bonus was the best fish co op in Perth right next door! My partner and his friend could not have had a better stay to start their adventures!     The staff were very nice. There are posters on the walls with prisoner descriptions, which we found very interesting. It has a great location, close to restaurants, IGA, mini golf, chemists, harbour (B Shed to Rottnest), and the train station - you can be in Perth centre in about 30 min cheaply if you buy the daily ticket.
