The whole hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere, architecture and design of very high quality. I was absolutely delighted by the smell in the room. The staff is very friendly. Everywhere clean and very pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner is very high culinary affair which will energize you for the whole day. Great stay in Sankt Johann im Pongau. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast is delicious. There is a storage room for ski boots and skis which is great. Just a short (steep!) walk from the town center where there are plenty of restaurants, shops, bars,... We will come back again to enjoy Austria in Winter and Summer.

Wonderful facilities, particularly the swimming pools and sauna area, separate adults-only sauna area. Delicious and extensive breakfast buffet, high quality 4-course evening meal for only €20 extra, fantastic value, particularly the gala dinner. Location very close to lifts and ski shops - we used the ski depot at the lift station which was very conveniently located (next to the excellent Rambazambar) Friendly and efficient staff in restaurant and at reception, immaculately clean rooms and public areas. Non-skiers in the group enjoyed the daily (free) activities, including yoga and hikes. Skiers enjoyed the local Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski area, and easy 15 minute bus links to Alpendorf and Bad Hofgastein
