Very nice hotel with big, cozy rooms. My room had access to 2 different balconies with an amazing view onto the sourrounding meadows and mountains. Parking right in front of the hotel. The hotel is quite off the beaten path, I needed to double check if I'm on the right way - but with the restaurant in the hotel, there is no need to go anywhere.

A really cozy new apartment in Matrei. The big apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a big bathroom 🚿 with the walk in shower, a big living room with such a great and modern flat screen. The new couch also gives the chance for 3 people to sleep on it. Last but not least a separate room with a double bed. The owner had created a splendid apartment where everyone can feel at home. They welcomed us warmly at the check in and showed up for everything we needed 🤗. Matrei is only 20 km away from Innsbruck and has a good connection also with other cities. Definitely to recommend for a group of friends, a couple or a Family.

"The room was absolutely beautiful and felt very homely, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was super cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathroom was lovely.     The location was rather difificult to find as Google maps sent me firstly up the wrong valley, and secondly had difficulty locating the actual address. At 1600 metres the views were magnificent,. The host was very pleasant, and even though it was the restaurants day of closure, willingly served a cooked meal in the evening. Food was excellent.
