Mountain View Guesthouse might be the best guesthouse I’ve stayed in. It’s located very close to the N7, petrol stations, supermarket, restaurants, and Costa coffee shop. A lovely warm welcome from Roché. He has thought of everything. A beautiful, immaculately clean room, full kitchen facilities with comprehensive dishes and utensils, fridge, microwave, air fryer, coffee pod machine, 2 x multi-head phone chargers. Also a working TV (doesn't always happen in my experience), and secure parking. No breakfast provided but that was expected, and it’s fine for me as I had my own food. And places to eat close by. The pool is very nice and access is possible directly from the room. The view from the pool and terrace directly on the lake. The breakfast was absolutely superb. Excellent communication with the owner who collected very useful information for us regarding our trip to Cederberg.

Room was extremely comfortable and clean with everything that we needed. The delicious baked bread with butter and jam was a nice surprise. Being able to park our large car behind a secure gate was a bonus in this town. In addition, the host provided information on local sites, with directions, which was appreciated. Highly recommend this property.
