The food was absolutely delicious, I especially enjoyed the spring roll dinner meal. The hosts loaned us a motorbike and helped us book our travel from the homestay back to Hanoi. They answered all of our questions and were fun and gracious.

Dengan pemandangan gunung, GiangTien Homestay ThacBa - Bungalow terletak di Yên Bình dan mempunyai restoran, dapur berkongsi, bar, taman, kolam renang luaran sepanjang tahun dan teres. I stayed in a private bungalow that was large, modern with hardwood floors and a big clean modern bathroom. Balcony right on the lake so the view was amazing. The staff were helpful and the whole place was mellow, relaxing and friendly and they had created an atmosphere where the guests talked and enjoyed each others company. Sunset boat tours of the lake are offered by the owner. The meals were excellent, easily as good as restaurant quality and plenty of it. Fresh fish from the lake, a selection of grilled meat, plenty of vegetables form their own farm including brocolli, carrots potatoes, corn etc etc etc. Google Maps shows the location away form the lake but the water level was good and it is lakefront.

The surroundings are magical, the staff is very welcoming, and the rooms are very unique and comfortable individually built stilt houses.

Terletak di Mù Cang Chải, Homestay Ngọc Thủy Điểm dừng chân lên Đồi Mâm Xôi mempunyai penginapan dengan WiFi percuma dan taman dengan teres dan pemandangan sungai. Host is pretty friendly but doesn’t speak any English (but it’s ok we used google translate) :). There’s a pretty nice sitting/chilling area at the back with a very nice view. Beds are a bit hard in the dorm but it’s like everywhere else around here. They can cook good food for you. They offer basically just the one meal for dinner (meat, tofu, eggs and rice with some greens) and for breakfast (ramen noodles with an egg). Dinner is very affordable (50k) and breakfast is included. The building is right next to the road, so there’s a bit of road noises but nothing that disturbed my sleep. Loved this homestay! :)
