Best homestay in Mai Chau, located not too far from Lac village (the center of Mai Chau with all activities) so we could easily walk there but far enough so we could sleep quietly. Our bungalow is right in front of rice fields, with mountains behind, best view of the Vietnamese countryside. It’s cozy and clean as well with a private bathroom, we could sleep very well. The best part is to hear the noise of the fields during the night (cricket, frogs, birds, etc.). It was a really authentic experience. The homestay hosts were very nice and welcoming, the breakfasts were delicious and well garnished. We had an amazing stay and will be back here next time.

Her and her family was so kind, friendly, and inviting. I felt like I was part of her family. The property is extremely beautiful and close enough to town that you can easily get all the necessities. I came for what I expected to be four nights and ended up staying 3 weeks. Really this is an amazing place.

I arrived before 2:00 PM, the room was ready and they gave me the key. The room was clean, cozy. The breakfast was simple but definitely sufficient. There is a table with hot tea, iced tea, coffee and water for free use all day. There is a restaurant on site and people also come to eat there from outside. The homestay is in a central location in the town and you can walk to the rice fields. There are bicycles on site. The staff is great.

They had free bicycle rentals and could organize and external travel for you. The people and family were also extremely nice people and very welcoming. There were also hammocks and great places to chill at.

Beautiful location, amazing food in the restaurant, the 6 bed dorm was comfy and you have privacy curtains between beds, it was always clean throughout the place. You can book tours and transport through reception. I would definitely stay here again.

Lim’s house provides travellers with a welcoming and authentic Homestay in May Chau. She and her mom are hard working ladies, caring for their guests like family. Lim made us a hot ginger tea to warm up with on our arrival on a motorcycle. The included breakfast was delicious and the supper meal we bought and shared with other guests was superb!

Rooms are located in the second floor, clean and well maintained with a balcony overlooking the rice fields and mountains. The view is stunning! The family is lovely and welcoming, prepare delicious fruit smoothies with yogurt. We had also diner which was tasty, specially we liked papaya salad. For breakfast we got delicious local fruit, eggs and pancakes. We got good a map at arrival with recommendations for sightseeing Mai Chau valley by motorbike and bike and help to arranged the motorbikes for us. We highly recommend this homestay!!
