The bed was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was very strong and the TV had many channels. The host was very warm, welcoming, diligent, friendly, and helpful. There is a great night market and many stores nearby.

The owner offered to fetch us from and back to the bus station during check-in and out. Breakfast was absolutely delicious paired with the stunning view. Dinner is available to be arranged in advance at a small cost and I regret not taking it. Experiencing tea making ceremonies is fun. Definitely coming back again.

The place is run by a family. The son helped us carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. The place has no elevator. Our room is huge with all the basic amenities. It's got a great view from the patio. On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

They will tell you whatever you want to know about the region and Alishan tea, which is considered one of the best in Taiwan and even in China. They will make you feel truly welcome throughout your stay and will help you with anything you might need. If you are looking for something other than yet another beige hotel room and continental breakfast buffet, this is definitely the place for you. Be careful, though - Taiwanese people take their food very seriously, and so do the owners! Breakfast here resembles what we in Europe would consider a two-course dinner. And it’s exquisite. In short: peaceful, relaxing, and unforgettable.

We even had tea sessions with the hosts and they let us try the different kinds of tea leaves which they grow themselves. We were there during winter and the heated toilet seat was just superb 😊. The beds were very comfortable too. There is a heated water dispenser at the accom so we do not need to buy or boil water.
