Very nicely equipped and decorated place, I'd recommend it for people who want to visit Tromso but don't want to spend their money in expensive hotels. The location is well connect to the city by bus (30/40 minutes to city center)

The house with big windows overlooking the mountains and water was amazing ! It’s also a very good location to see the northern lights, which we saw three times !! We also tried the jacuzzi which was so cozy. Perfect location too, mostly if you have a car to do day trips to the fjords all around. The staff was super nice and in general we absolutely loved our stay there, recommend 200% !

It is excellent and it face directly to the sea (west). The place is not totally isolated, there are some houses nearby. Still, you will need a car. The bed is okay, just the top bunk bed is squeaky. Other facility is also work like brand new. If you have the intention to catch the aurora, it will not be as easy as going out to your balcony and saw one. In most of the time, you will need to go to a slightly remote area. The balcony facing west when normally aurora spread from north to south. You can walk a bit in the neighbourhood but behind the apartment, there's a hill that will block the way. Again, it might not always happened likat what I describe. You must have your car and hunt the aurora to a dark area where there is no light. And, if you stay here, we are only talking about 2 to 10 Km away to find such location.

She had a lot of toys of her grand children which our daughter could play with. Which was very thoughtful. We also liked the location very much. Nature is beautiful and also close to the city. A playground is across the street.

The house offers all you need and has a very practical floor plan. Downstairs, the entry is tiled and has enough space for all your gear and clothing, as well as a separate room with a washer and dryer. Upstairs is all the living space with heated, wooden floors. The kitchen is fully equipped (even with a steamer), the bathroom stocked with toiletries. The interior style is very appealing, the beds super comfortable, the cleanliness meticulous and the view from the large living room amazing. The two balconies are perfect for northern lights watching, and when the aurora is hidden behind clouds, the large TV and the comfy couches make for a great movie night. The house is located literally at the end of the road in Tromvik, so there is no passing traffic at all. You can reach various points of interest/trailheads within 10 to 60 minutes. Anne and Steinar who live next door are the most warm-hearted and welcoming hosts. We really had a great time and can highly recommend this vacation rental. The pictures we added are all taken from the balcony or in front of the house.

You have everything you need inside, very comfortable and relaxing. Great view from the boat to the fjords too. Espen also went extra miles to help us with some groceries as most supermarkets were closed on Sun when we arrived. Would definitely come back if there’s a chance.
